Armstrong update
Derek Armstrong, who has been out since Dec. 9 with concussion-like symptoms, has been skating and might be able to return on Saturday. Here's what Terry Murray said...
MURRAY: ``I think he's very close. He has been cleared by the doctors, so it's just a matter of getting his feet under himself and trying to get back into the lineup.''

He's very close?
So What.
Whose place will he take.
I don't think there's any plans for him on this team.
He's a great guy, but you can put him in the Barbie category.
It seems like TM is planning on putting him back in the lineup possibly for Zeiler?
Zeiler's spot is really the only one he could take. Purcell and Lewis are playing too well. The real question mark for me is what to with Richardson when he gets healthy. Lewis and Purcell have shown a lot more promise and upside in my opinion.
TM will put him back in when he is good to go. Army got hurt unexpectedly, and was playing the way they asked him to at the time of his injury. Any player that has been injured to this point was given their spot back accordingly. I agree that he will take Zeiler's spot when the time is right, unless someone else falters; which is highly unlikely.
"might be able to return on Saturday"
Is that a threat?
