Goalie matchup

| | Comments (5) |

It's almost certain to be the Kings' Erik Ersberg against Phoenix's Mikael Tellqvist, even though Coyotes goalie Ilya Bryzgalov has won five consecutive starts against the Kings. Tellqvist has had the hot hand and stopped 95 of 99 shots over his last three starts. Ersberg faced the Coyotes twice last season. The first time, he allowed five goals in a 6-5 shootout win. The second time, he made 38 saves in a shutout victory.

After Barbi's performance last night, I hope its Ersberg.
Most goalies in the NHL or even the ECHL are able to make a save when the puck is resting at your feet.

Lets hope we rebound like we did after the Flames loss.
Good luck team. And leave Calder at the airport.

The question is Murray going to create scoring lines or leave this club out to dry again by playing inferior players in scoring capacities.Shorten the bench Murray get some more scoringfrom your higher end skill players or you fail again.

Yeah. It's too bad Murray couldn't bury that breakaway early in the first. Also, it sucks that Murray couldn't bury the wide-open net on the PP. And again! DAMMIT MURRAY!

Oh wait, those were the players that failed to score. My bad.

Sorry Anthony. According to your comments last night....HORRIBLE game by Ersberg. Already gave up 2 goals.

Shame on him.
