Oilers 2, Kings 0

The Kings probably won't have to worry about blowing another third period lead this time. Marc Pouliot scored from right in front of the net on a nice pass from Andrew Cogliano, who was behind the net.

3-0. I guess there's a reason Labs was the #1 coming out of camp.

That last one was horrible.

Fault on Goal #1: Doughty

Fault on Goal #2: Kopitar

Can we assume they will be benched for the second and third periods tonight?

Let's hope Frolov and Murray have kissed and made up.

This team has all the energy but doesnt convert on its chances. Edmonton scores when they get the chance. We are imploding, and Ersberg when we needed him blew it. I expect to see Labarbara in the second. Kopitar was not as impressive to me last year as everyone thought, and this year he can not handle the pressure of the contract or the defense. Sully runs around and makes stupid passes, and we are lucky its not 5-0 because there were more breakdowns that almost went in.
