Keep POS and Kopi together forever.
Kopi is so much better when POS is on his wing.
Kopi needs him.
That's it.
It is only one game with the new lines, but I must say I really liked it. Kopi must play with POS. If Purcell finds more confidence and some scoring touch, we might finally have the balance in all lines that TM was looking for.
Third time since 75-96 huh? Which is it, 75-76 or 95-96?
Kyle Quincey now leads the team in assists... Kyle Quincey!! I realize this may be short-lived (ahem Kopitar), but this is awesome. I don't want to say "Lubo who" just yet, but damn any time some Red Wings castoff from waivers can step in and be that reliable, I'm damn happy especially with the D we started with. seriously, we knew he'd be good but like Doughty has clearly exceeded expectations.
I like the new pairings on the blueline too. Quincey - Doughty, O'Donnell - Green instead of O'D with Doughty. maybe it'll stick, maybe not. but it could work out for the best in the long run. let's hope Preissing remembers how to play well enough to stay in the lineup one of these days.
last hat trick Frolov also vs. the Blues?? makes sense, St. Loser is always good for a few goals... or 6.
oh Andy Murray, I mean you clearly had flaws, but we hardly knew ye.
