Doughty shouldering the load
Ryan Kennedy of The Hockey News wrote an extensive blog item today about Drew Doughty, and also gave a plug to the column I wrote about the Kings for the current issue. That column isn't available on the website, but it's in the current magazine.

In Doughty We Trust
Poor Sully is unhappy. Suck it up you baby. Earn the contract you held out for. If you feel you deserve that kind of money then you should be able to play on any line and be effective. Anthony feels sorry for you and Kopi but I don't. You guys show little to no desire to be on this team. Guys like Brownie, Calder, Simmer and even Zieler at least try and hustle and make things happen and all they get is trashed on this site. No one plays great every night, but at least give 100%.
Doughty a keeper? That kid is the mutha****** FRANCHISE!
Next time they don't defend him out there, I'm climbing the glass and kicking a**, myself.
