Ducks 3, Kings 1

i'm going to blame this one on heidi androl for doing a piece for the ducks. she's the reason why we lost. trade her, preissing and zeiler.

Another poor offensive performance, 5 goals in last seven games! Another good goaltening performance blown. Kopi just sucks right now. PLEASE get a scorer Dean, before its way too late

unispired performance by the Kings....The coach is good with teaching defense but his laid back tude is not motivating our team...Plus I dont see any great skills from Boyle.Purcell or even Lewis when he was up..Those players look to be avg. at best...

This offensive system is really, really, really starting to frustrate me.

Once again the Kings don't dictate the play of the game.
In the game against the Flyers they matched the intensity and squeezed out a win. Tonight they played cautious hockey instead of taking the play to Anaheim.

One of the most boring Kings-Ducks games I've seen.

Can anyone explain something to me??? time and time again on the rush 3 on 3 or 2 on 2 the kings forwards push the puck up the side boards and take a major low percentage shot from outside the circle!!!! where is the cycling back towards the middle. or stopping up and hitting the backside d man??? there seems to be no imagination out there.

Keep sending only one forward to forecheck.
Keep restraining the offense (even though they suck just like you).
Keep doing what you're doing.

Maybe you're team will set a record for the lowest scoring team.

All I can say is.... the only thing worse than watching the Kings lose to the Ducks... is having to listen to the Anaheim TV telecast. Nothing could ever compare to Bob and Jim, but.... well I'll just leave it at that. :)

Man I said I wouldn't do this but after these last 6 games I can't help it. It's great the D is playing so well this year but are we EVER going to have a balance on this stupid team???!!!

I find myself talking to Cubs fans for guidance in how to deal with being a fan of an, obviously, inept franchise. I can't believe I'm saying this but whatever optimism people have for next year or the year after is a waste.

TM may be great for a calm, teaching method, but we need someone screaming at these guys now! These two games against the Ducks were/are HUGE and they played flat the entire game.

I have to punch holes in my wall now.

i know its frustrating watching a game like this. it's like the proverbial getting your teeth extracted without novacain... tough to stomach. its ok to talk to the pigeons, its when they talk back that you should seek help.

I felt sure the game was lost as soon as Doughty took the penalty. Such a needless penalty it was clear the Ducks would score. I absolutely share everyone's frustration re: the offense. Every great player goes thru a slump, but at the moment Kopitar doesn't look even close to scoring. True the D is so much better, but boy, at what price? TM says that will come once the D is integrated. I hope he's right cause this is no fun at all. Even the Duck announcers said that it's been the goaltending the last number of years that has kept the Kings out of the playoffs. Well a GOA of less than two for Ersberg in his career against the Ducks and I think he's won one out of five games?

I thought the Ducks played us with a very arrogant attitude, almost as though they were being insulted having to play the LA Kings. Kopitar I thought should alot more hustle tonight then what he has in the previous games, Brownie's little juke and twist are getting very old, he needs to be looking to give the puck up to the trailer once he's inside the zone. What can you say about Ersberg, did you see his mask?? I may be mistaken but I thought that on the front it said "Iceberg" and if it did, how cool is that as I think that nickname came from one of the guys here. I sure that most of us feel and understand that there is a great deal of evaluating going on right now and that this period of time and the next few games could spell the end for a couple of prospects, I hope they are not that comfortable because they shouldn't be. The game IMO was good and the Ducks caught a break when Doughty's clearing shot planned on him for the penalty (wrong time for that). We do need something to open up, hmmmm just maybe it is the system that is slowing a couple of the guys down. If a team is going to play defensively the majority of the game then why do you need the guys who just run around and bang?? I want that to get a team fired up to take charge and score a few goals.

ONLY Rob Niedermayer can make that shot? WTF is Hayward smoking? Holy smokes guys. He lobbed it into an empty net. I'd hope any pro could make that shot.

Have to agree with the earlier comment. When I saw it was that ASS clown Hayward on the screen instead of Jim & Bob, I almost didnt watch. He's got to be one of the biggest homers that has ever been allowed to call a game. Put the pom-poms away and call it the way its played. I guess there wasnt a whole lot to comment on with how the Kings played last night, but I really, really despise Hayward. Sure hope the fellas play better tomorrow night than they did last night. Do keep in mind though, we did hit two posts and Brownie did have the swing and a miss. We're very, very close. Go Kings
