Well I dont know about you but I bet the KINGS wish they could score some goals for all the $11.50 sell out fans that are there, If they could score more then 1 goal they may be able to get more then 10,000 full price paying fans to come back to the games.

We have stock pile of defense in the system, So why have 10 players to help us lose 2-0 games a lil offense is what we need to go with the improved "D"

and at least Dave Taylor filled the stands without giveing away the seats and pissing off the Season ticket holders that oh buy the way saw a increase in price this year.
We need offense period and it wont fall from the sky. We will have to give up something for it sometime unless we get really lucky with a killer free agent but I doubt it.

It's not about one bad loss but a total and complete lack of intensity AGAIN!!!

TM was totally out classed tonite.Failure to play with 3 lines and not their 4th caused continual penalties and panic in their play.Effort was their from a few but many were not present.I have never seen so many important faceoffs lost in one game.I highly recommend that Greene never pinch again or drop the gloves that was downright embarassing.Kopitar was floating more then Fro and Brown was just plain dumb with his puck decisions.Boys lets stay on the ice as long as we can then when were tired we will try and get off== FAILURE.Selfish play allround with an outdated coach making decisions.I would suggest TM take another look and evaluate what he has,cause he's got it all wrong right now.Play your best players if you want to keep your job.

Stockpile of defensive PROSPECTS or those not even really considered prospects yet.

But who knows maybe we haven't made a moveyet because you haven't let DL know we've got all these guys other teams would want to trade their offensive powerhouses for...

Anthony I have been reading your comments about our coach for the entire season and have disagreed with a lot of your comments. I was at the game tonight and could not believe the way he handled the goaltending. Quick should have been replaced with E after the 3rd goal. The team was not playing well and you can't replace the whole team. I think tonight the coach was an idiot. It felt like it was punish the goalie. I am starting to doubt TM.

this team sucks - rationalize all you want - this team sucks. Again.

Didn't see the game, so I can't really comment on it, but PIT has lost of 7 of 8 with arguably the two best players in the game and a SC-qualifying team. We have yet to lose at such a clip.

The coach is the first guy to take the blame in a lot of losses like this, but it sounds like the players were flat and the goaltender had a bad night. I'm still concerned about our lack of scoring. Seems like we put up 30+ shots and only have a goal to show for it quite often.

Don't panic.
That was a game of mistakes.
Greener had a shocker, as did Zoos.
Give them 3 and it's a piano on the back.
I thought the team played well outside of those flubs.
Greene has got to know a couple things, but forgot them.
1. don't skate with the puck.
2. don't screen your own goalie.
3. when you're having a bad night, don't pinch and go for the big hit. They're gonna score.
4. after failing to heed all the above, don't try to salvage your night with a fight. Against Rupp. You just looked silly.
But maybe Greene wanted out of the building, so he took a few noogies.

I liked most of what I saw besides the stupid mistakes.
I would like to see Kopi and Fro stay together on the PP.
I'd also like to see Purcell, possibly, with them. Then come with O'S,Boy,Brown...

Our defense is looking ragged, however. Even Doughty to a degree. Lots of penalties by defensemen.

Wow, you guys amaze me..... It was not a pretty game, however,you guy's are so quick to cast stones and throw in the towel...... What part of this team is not a true playoff team yet? If anything, we are fighting for the 8th spot.

We are one of the youngest teams in the league, its gonna happen.... Hell, even the sharks got beat 6-0 or somthing like that a couple weeks ago.

The Dave Taylor comment is the craziest thing I've heard. We are alot better poised for the future then we ever were before.

Be patient, next year and the following, will be a different story.

The bottom line is that this is not a playoff team and most of the forwards have taken a step back this year.
Consider the fact that to this point in the season the Kings have played the most favorable schedule in the entire NHL and they are still in 14th place in the West. They have not suffered any major injuries other
than Johnson. The big concern should be that the core of this team right now is not good enough to be a playoff team.
