And the goat is on the ice for the first goal. surprise surprise. TM please bench him the rest of the game.

Wolski seems to play really well against us

Doughty's having an off game (or at least off period)...if it wasn't for that bad clearing attempt...they probably would have killed that penalty...

So far the refs missed one period... If they miss another one break out the pregnancy tests...

AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! AAAAAMMMMAAAZZZIIINNNNGGGG!!! Keep shooting the puck!!

Ersberg Author Profile Page said:

Bob Miller is going to have a raw throat after this one:
"Frolov, short side, SCORE!!"
"4 on 4 skating situation, and here's Brown, shoots, he SCORES!!"

I'll buy him some Halls.

Wow, CO is getting boat raced.

Besides the goals, it's great to see the Kings keep up the pressure like they did yesterday agaisnt the Wild. They look hungry and not satisfied with 6 goals, which is exactly how they should look. I hope this is what our future looks like.

We have the score on our side, now all we need is to see a Westgarth fight. Cmon, man, you're not gonna be here after the break!

It isn't over yet, but I want more....6-2 isn't enough...Pour it on!!!

Go Kings!

neil said:

And who was on the ice for their second goal????Yea him!!!! Rich...is this the same system the Kings are using or what is happenning??This is great but i cant figure out why?? WOW is all i can say!!!

Tom Hughes Author Profile Page said:

i love how the kings play with so much more confidence when they're up. it's really obvious in the way they skate and attack the puck

charlesin Reno said:

The colorado anouncer just said, "that's the best save I've seen on a avelanche player all season." They're really giving Quick a lot of praise.

It's funny how all the TM basher's quickly faded off this thread. 11 goals in 2 games and maybe more to come.

God I wish Murray would quit holding our offensive capabilities back(hahaha). These are the games that keep us coming back for more. I cant imagine blowing this one.Looks good thru 2.

Chris Bond Author Profile Page said:

This is great to watch but I hope the momentum dont go away over the break........

Shakes Author Profile Page said:

6-3 but the Aves announcers have been real positive on Quick. Also did anyone on Center Ice watch the Denver feed pregame show where they showed Anze's home life. Real cool to do a profile on a visiting player

charlesin Reno said:

Yeah I saw that too, Kopitar's got his whole family living with him, It's good to have a son that's a star in the NHL.

The Kings are backing off..6-4

Anonymous said:

Ooooh... first goal that is all Quick's fault. How he responds to that is huge. Its good that he's pissed.

Hopefully they can respond with more goals quickly!

F THE AVS!

GO KINGS GO!

charlesin Reno said:

I don't think gauthier will be playing in the next game

Josh M said:

Now there's the Kings I know! 6-5! Woohoo it never fails!

Young teams have to learn to win close games on the road...

Shakes Author Profile Page said:

4 minutes..

The Kings are backing off..6-4

Ersberg Author Profile Page said:

Double-post. I guess I mean it twice as much. I just need any King player to knock Ryan Smyth out.

Andrew Author Profile Page said:

This period shows that we're still a young team, but I still believe they can win this one. Go Kings!

Shakes Author Profile Page said:

save by Greene...

Bill said:

framer31,

How long have you been watching the Kings? ;) No lead is safe, especially you have a young, inconsistent team.

Brent Author Profile Page said:

Great block by Handzus late to seal the game. Shaky third, but the boys found a way to hang on. Way to get 5 out of 6 points on this trip guys!!! Enjoy your ASB.

Ersberg Author Profile Page said:

I'm so happy the Kings dangled that game out in front of CO's noses only to deny them a comeback.
Adding to our list of things to work on:
Learning how to deal with a lead, and like TM said in the interview, shutting the other team down with it.

Cry baby said:

As they say back in Wisconsin..OH WOW! What a game, hanging on by a thread!

KingzzFan Author Profile Page said:

wow, I think I put a hole in my rug from pacing around. Quick needs to stop trying to be fancy with the puck. other than that,a good road win. what a way to go into the break.
