Zeiler is playing aweful.
Just terrible.
If I were Handzus or POS, I would either demand a trade or demand a new coach who actually knows how to coach.

Stoll's got to make that PP shot. He had a wide open net and shot it right at the goalie.

Quick was completly out of position on one of the plays...thank goodness the Wild didnt take advantage..But on the other hand Quick might be sent down for his mistake.....

whats the song they were playing during the 1st review of the 3rd goal lol,

has a sick riff.

When Kopi and Brown score in the same game, the Kings usually win.

Let,s keep it going.

Hey, explosive offense! I love it.

3-1 Kings! nice play by Calder on the second goal, with Kopitar hitting the open net. and, a full-on charge for a rebound by Brown produces the third goal.

yeah baby! and this is why this team kills me...just when i start to lose hope and prepare myself emotionally for a long season, the play like this.

getting bounces for a change is great

What are these guys doing? There supposed to shoot the puck wide not put it in the net!

the Goon Squad scored! 4-2 baby!

kings have some jump tonight... foxy was talking about a different sort of practice...maybe thats the difference or maybe its just the fact that its a must win game in terms of moral and playoff hopes. either way its nice to see. hopefully we can get the W.

TIME TO CHANGE THE LINES !!!!So far this shows you can limit the other teams shot on goals(only 14 so far)and score yourself!!!A good coach will make sure the Kings dont let up in the third...Go Kings

i completely agree with Neil, please don't slow it down. anyone who watched UCLA's game against Arizona State would agree. terrible.

Boogarth vs Ivanans....That was a slugfest....

Go Kings!

Eric K Author Profile Page said:

Boogaard and Ivanans finally go at it! Ivanans held his own pretty well, but man, Boogaard has some reach.

Moondoggie said:

Boogaard does have some reach but Ratis definitely held his own....good fight.

Bad penalty by Stollie with 5 minutes left...That won't get him out of TM's doghouse....

the kings are playing well. where's anthony? i'm waiting for his critiques. come on anthony. aren't you going to call tm and deano names?

final: 5-2, Kings. great win.

Nice to get a "W" huh guys???

Chris Bond Author Profile Page said:

The best part is that they got more then 1 or no goals...If we could just get 3-4 every night.

Andrew Author Profile Page said:

Awesome play and effort by the Kings. Minnesota did have some mistakes, but mostly because the Kings never let up the pressure. Feels good to see the Kings earn a good one.

I don't know if they mentioned this during the telecast, but can anyone tell me why they wore dark today? I assume they wore dark against Dallas because Dallas wore their white third jerseys, but Minnesota was wearing their regular away jerseys. Anyone know why?

So when do we resume these playoff talks? Do we need to win one or two more in a row before we proclaim ourselves best team ever and praise TM and DL?

Just kidding. But damn, if the Kings could string a few games together like the one they played tonight we would have a pretty good shot at sneaking into the playoffs. Hopefully these road games will prove to be a huge lift to this slumping team. We did well in Dallas at the end and then played great against the Wild. Bring it, Colorado.

funny how after a win the TM bashers are no where to be found to give him a little praise...man I hate sharing a team with some of these "fans"....

hey haters!!!!

where are all of you????

i'm sorry the kings won tonight. now you have nothing to complain about for 24 hours.

Its not 'hate,' its 'doubt.' and its directed at the coach. it used to be directed at the GM, but I'm on board with him now.
i take pleasure in the fact that the Kings won a game, and I think they did it in a way they haven't for almost 2 months.
i'll be happy if Murray removes my doubts and gets them to play like this every night.
But, i think what you saw tonight was also what i've been asking for, for about 2 1/2 months.

Zeiler on a Stronger line.
Harrold in there at D and with more ice-time.
Kopi and Frolov together.
Fairly solid lines throughout the game
Someone to figure out how to use Brown (calder)
And, some life (calder sparks the team).

Calder was definitely in the 'shop window' tonight.
Either that, or he was loafing the last few weeks.
It could be that a trade is close. No? To Lemaire country?
We'd never want to trade him if he played like that every night.

It also looks like Westgarth can skate, which makes me happy as well.
Maybe he'll turn into that pesty fighter we've maybe lacked since Lappy's farewell.

The Kings are like an addict. You have to give them time to prove they won't slip right back into bad habits.

The Kings were Jeckyll again for the first time in a long time.
Let's hope Hyde is gone for good.

Nice game by Quick. I saw a lot of Zeiler bashing early on in this thread. I thought he played ok, he came out with 2 nice hits on his first shift.

Eat, there's been some serious hate thrown towards TM around here. My only issue with him is his goalie choices and who starts which game(tonight worked out ok-it's easy to say that after the fact).

Moon, you're right about Stollie. He's going to be on line 4 soon if he doesn't pull it together.

Westgarth looked alright out there. He got in front of the net a couple times causing some havoc.
