Lightning 3, Kings 0 (Quick in)

Tampa scores an even-strength goal 5:48 into the second period, and the Kings pull Erik Ersberg in favor of Jonathan Quick. Martin St. Louis worked the puck out of the corner to Vincent Lecavalier, whose slap shot from the left faceoff dot beat Ersberg.

team looks lost, they aren't gelling..i'd like to think it has to do with the constant line changing, the third goal seemed to be Icebergs fault

Is this Tampay Bay or Detroit we're playing?

Artuykin is a bum after he hits Doughty with his knee out. He slashes him! What an oaf!

Good lord the Kings have been bad lately. I don't think it's a rush to judgment to suggest that there are problems here. I mean Tampa is probably the worst team in the NHL but right now they are just taking it to the Kings.

I think the Kings really need someone who is a really great offensive player. Frolov, Kopitar, and O'Sullivan are all really good offensive players, but none of them seem to be of the Ovechkin mold where they can really break the game open on their own. Hopefully if the Kings are gonna miss the playoffs and it's looking more and more like they will, they will finish in the bottom 5 and get a shot at that top draft pick so that we might still see Tavares in LA. Or at least maybe they can sign someone in the off season like Kovulchuk.

This team should be playing at the Sports Arena.

With our luck we Tampa will probably get Tavares.

Ersberg couldn't see the puck, I don't blame this goal on him. He was screened by O'Donnell I think it was.

I still agree with pulling him though, whether he was to blame or not letting three goals in in a fairly short stretch of time is going to hurt your confidence and confidence is everything for a goaltender.
