Richardson to Manchester
Brad Richardson has been assigned to Manchester for a conditioning assignment. Richardson remains on injured reserve during the assignment. He has been out since he suffered a cut on his lower leg during a Dec. 3 practice.

AHHH Richardson, the answer to our scoring woes.....
Before some of you get too excited, do make note that it's a conditioning assignment, which means it's only temporary. It's not the same as actually assigning a player to Manchester.
Considering it cost a 2nd round pick to acquire him, I'd like to see if this guy can actually be a decent forward.
I think people value this pick way too much. The second round pick was #61, (NOT #31) the last pick in the second round. We had the 63rd pick too and still got the guy we wanted. In getting Richardson, we got an nhl ready player and is better than anyone we could have gotten between picks 61-63. I hope his injury problems are behind him now and he gets a fair look.
