Today's lineup
The Kings have seven defensemen in there today, so there are a lot of movable parts. The only consistent lives I've seen so far are Frolov-Kopitar-Simmonds and Calder-Stoll-Brown.
Jack Johnson has been paired with both Gauthier, Harrold and Doughty, so we'll have to take another look later in the game.

we're on pace for 12 shots and 0 scoring chances for the game...still, lots of hitting and fire. but so far, dallas is dictating play and we're reacting (well).
PP scoring chance:
Purcell hits the low post after a shot/pass through the crease from frolov.
Should have been an easy chip-in up high.
They look better but Dallas is dictating play. I like the checking. JMFJ & Doughty look good. Offense is absent so far...
I was listening to the Dallas announcers on xm and they had great comments on the Kings young D and future blueliners...But they also commented that with their systems its like having 2 offensive players going against 5 ...Rich or anyone else..is that true and what is their system that is causing scoring problems???
Prediction: 3-1 Stars
What else is on?
The Kings are killing my will to watch hockey. If I didn't know better I'd think it was Andy Murray coaching this team. Same unwatchable lack of offense and total absence of creativity. At least Ersberg is looking good.
A better 2nd for the Kings. We kept up the intensity while getting some good offensive chances. Still though, Dallas has been 1 step better and as a result, they are still playing their game more than we are playing ours. Which begs the question...what is ours?
The Iceberg is back! Ersberg is keeping the Kings in this one.....
I have never seen sucha poor power play...wow...only chance on the power play was for dallas shorthanded...
Geesh, this game was ugly. They should have zero points.
Anyone know what the stat is on the Kings giving up goals under the 2 minute mark?
p.s. Come on, Jack. You gotta lift! You had Turco beat. Lift it!
