Where's Westgarth?
The Kings called up Kevin Westgarth from Manchester last week, presumably because they wanted a more physical presence in the lineup. But Westgarth has been a healthy scratch in the two games since his call-up. Terry Murray told the Kings' website before Saturday's game that Westgarth was ``penciled in'' the lineup but that he was unsure about whether to play seven defensemen, with Jack Johnson playing his first game. Presumably, that means Westgarth has a good chance of playing Tuesday, since Johnson didn't seem to have any issues Saturday against Dallas.

Bench Ivan, play Garth...Nothing to lose.
Can't think of a better opportunity for Westgarth to show what he's got than up against the Boogeyman on Tuesday.
Relatively minor switch except I think Westgarth is a better puck handler than Ivanans. He's young and I doubt very seriously if he'd allowed the hit on Doughty by Artyukhin. Damn, I'm still grousing about that play...
Good point Rich and thanx for bringing it up. I've been wondering the same thing.
Hate to state the obvious but he's faster and would bring added punch to the 4th line, more of an offensive threat than Ivanans.
Let's see him play.....
Seriously should ANYTHING surprise us anymore.
I think that Westy has improved his skating and etc. during this past off season. He's been a good endforcer, so I'm looking forward to see how he does with the Kings. Hopefully he'll play tomorrow night.
Moondoggie you're kidding right? My grandmother is more of an offensive threat than Ivanans.
