Let’s predict the final score of today’s Super Bowl between the Steelers and Cardinals. I know the Steelers are the popular choice, but remember no one thought the Giants would beat the Patriots last year, either.

I predict less viewers for the Super Bowl than for Chelsea Vs. Liverpool earlier today.

    Cardnals 27
    Steelers 17

  • charlesinReno

according to 80% of the public are backing Arizona on the money line and 55% are backing Arizona on the spread. I put my money on Pits on the spread, so my prediction is the steelers win by more than 7

  • PUCKBOY 25

    Arizona wins 27-17

    Cardinals with the upset 30 – 23

This is just wishful thinking but I’ll call Cards 28-24.

  • damage control

    depends. is stephane auger officiating?

  • kevin e.

    Pitt 42-13

  • andrew

i dont really care… its football.

  • John P

predict a 100 yard interception return for a touchdown

  • Shakes

the refs will find a way for Montreal to win this too.

  • Old Man

I could care less about the bowl.I don`t get over king losses very well.

  • Gary B

I thought this site was for Kings HOCKEY not football

  • neil

I predict Pittsburg will win it toward the end of the game …by 4 points…..

  • Deano Lombardo

Gauthier 35 games… can wish right?

  • markisonfire

    I’m guessing 27-23, Pittsburgh…. :/

  • Matt George

I thought this was a hockey site.

Isn’t there anything about Ottawa that would be of interest?

  • Matt George

Well here’s something about the KINGS anyway

Looks like Gauthier has been summoned to a disciplinary hearing.

  • Jill Painter

Yes, this is a hockey site. I figured even hockey fans would be watching the Super Bowl. It was something that was meant for fun.

  • Moondoggie

    Shakes…..*ROFLMAO*….That was funny!

Did you see the Habs today in their “3rd” or throwback jerseys or whatever they are? They looked like candy canes. Nice tribute to the Leafs with their crest too. Then the B’s manage to go into Montreal and win 3-1.

    I love it!

  • Matt George

    My apologies Jill.

We know your trying… you have to know something about LA hockey fans in particular … we’re religious because night in and night out hockey barely gets a mention on the local news.

Football however … well hell they’ll report on the Raiders before the Kings.

Rich has carved a little slice of heaven for us and we enjoy the hyper focused, razor sharp coverage this site provides. Anytime it starts to veer of course, you’re likely to get this type of response.

    Thanks again.

  • Moondoggie

Look at it this way Jill…We’d rather chat with you, Rich and the other blogers about the Kings than watch the Super Bowl. What does that say for your website? It speaks volumes….

    Go Kings!

  • Shakes

dude some of you guys are bizarro when you can’t even take a Super Bowl post without getting upset. i know this is a hockey site but you make it seem like Rich and Jill are here just to serve you.

people deep breath, deep breath…at the end of the day we’re because it’s for fun. unless we’re talking about Anaheim of course

  • MacSwede

With risk of aggrovating you Jill, but I must agree with Matt, isnt this blog about Hockey? I am from Sweden and cant think of anything more un-interesting than american football….sorry 😉

  • Ersberg

    Fans 48 Springsteen 0

    That halftime show was…bad.

  • Moondoggie

The part I liked was when Springsteen tried to, er, ah, get up on the piano. Well, at least he made it…..

  • brianguy

  • Ersberg

Yeah, I thought it was going to break. X.X

  • kevin e.

You knew this was about football. Why do you click on it and then complain about it? You can IGNORE it if you don’t like it. grow up.

  • Ersberg

Terrible post, Kevin. Likewise on the posting. Coming to complain people having fun commenting about the halftime in a particular event during the Super Bowl , in itself is..childish.
