Rich,

I was wondering if it isn't too much trouble, could you post the refs for the games as well as atleast the Kings scratches in the game thread? I always like knowing who calls the games so I know what to expect in future games. Thanks.

Thanks Rich!

Much appreciated.

Now if only we could get on the scoreboard...

Can Gauthier be waived mid-game? A truly pathetic first period.

I just don't buy this whole TM is a great teacher. Home Plate, protect Home Plate. Since day one of training camp it's been protect Home Plate. Within 8 minutes of each other, two guys come through the slot un-touched. Great job Murray. Oh, and for such an experienced coach, you sure don't seem to know how to get your team ready to play.

Is it really a turnaround when the kings can't snuff out the teams they should beat handily?

That's now 3 goals scored by unguarded guy in Home Plate.

Painful 5th goal. Horrible let down at the worst time. Hard to say why from where I'm sitting but the defense is not pysical enough for sure.

The kings continue to blow golden 2 man pp's with a completely static setup that puts them completely at the opponent's mercy. The kings continue to treat a 5 on 3 as an intermission.

All Kings playoff talk should end tonight. Let's get ready for the Baja cruise!

Richards breaks his wrist tonight. Giggy has come down with Cloutieritus, and Vancouver is falling faster than Jessica Simpsons's self esteem.

I'm as surprised by the Kings progress as most of us... and pleasantly surprised. Good for them. That being said though, they just don't deserve to be in the playoffs. Considering that they have lost (yes an OT loss is still a loss) all 5 games at home this year to Atlanta, Tampa Bay, Columbus (1 of 2?) and two to Edmonton! Sorry but that isn't a record of a team that's ready to be in the playoffs.

Maybe next year..... but only if they learn how to win these big games against infinitely beatable teams when the money is on the line. Otherwise it'll be another disappointing year.

Hey things could be worse. We could be Rangers fans.

Oh man, my heart can't take these kinds of losses much more. We really need to figure out how to win in the SO. God I hate the shootout. Aside from the Kings being terrible at them its such a bogus way to decide a hockey game. I wish OT was 10 minutes long.

So exciting, but such a letdown. 3 games in a row we lose because of a bad start. Aaaaahhh. They are just gonna keep teetering on playoff abyss.

Frolov should have been in for Brown on the shootout. Such a weak move he made. Also it baffles me how they can see Hedberg get undressed by a deke from Kopi, then everyone proceeds to just shoot, except for Brown, who seemed to make his move in slo-mo.

Why Kings why?

We seriously are a Kovalchuk away. God I want him to be a King.

This team is just not ready to take the next step in the rebuilding process. These last 3 games at home will atest to that. As die hard fans, lets just try and not get too frustrated over the next few weeks, because the inconsistency is starting to catch up with this team.

One thing is for certain, though. TM and DL have a hard on for Gauthier. Nice guy and all, along with being physical. But forget about the Philly connection. He is hurting this team with his play and decision making. The sooner Goat and Ivan are waived, this team will take the next step. Until then, the process will take longer. And thats a fact.

GO KINGS GO !!

Kompon needs to go. This guy has no imagination as far as the PP is concerned. You dont need to have snipers out there. You have to have quick passing, decision making and the ability to "Sell a Move" to get the defenders leaning one way. This team has wayyyyyyy too much talent for this PP not to be excelling. If they dont turn it around the last 2 months, we need to get somebody fresh in there. Ship JK back home with Crawford. We need to rid ourselves completely of these Canuck hasbeens.

the Kings score 4 goals in a night on the power play, and you want to blame Kompon for the loss.

I have my issues with the power play, but they looked outstanding tonight.

The power play was not the problem tonight. It was our poor start again and lack of defense (mainly the breakdowns) in the 1st. The 5-3 was a bit stale, but when you score 4 pp goals in any game that's a good night.
