Thanks to all
I'll be heading out to the morning skate in a few minutes, but I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for all the kind messages yesterday. It's a part of the job, but it's great to know that so many of you enjoyed the interview. I'm not fishing for more compliments...the comments and e-mails yesterday were more than sufficient, and very much appreciated. I'll let Lombardi know that you appreciated it as well.
I'll have some stuff from the skate a bit later.

Sorry Rich, but this is so far above the call of the job, it borders on inanity. And, we are thrilled to go crazy about the Kings. These insights give us a way to bond with the team that there is no other way to achieve. Thank you
Here's one more Rich.... Your commitment to the fans is second to none. Thanks for everything you do!
Yes, I forgot to add a thank you to DL as well. His time and devotion to the Kings as is yours is so different than anything we've had in the past. We've had good teams, bad teams, Gretzky's team, etc. But never have all of us had a Kings team we felt we could call ours. A huge part of this is what you do for the fans and for the time and efforts DL & and his staff have spent building a contender.
From all of us, many, many thanx again!
oh yah. Great job! Especially for ppl like me who are following this team more than 10k away from LA...
Hi Rich,
I have been a religious reader of this site all season long, and have yet to comment, but I could not in good conscience let your amazing work yesterday go by without comment. Thanks for all you do - you are an incredible resource for us die hard Kings fans and know that there are probably many more out there like me that follow your work without comment.
I just heard that DL signed Rich before the deadline.
Same deal he gave Kopi
Rich, us. Kings fans would like to sign you to a Dipietro type contract. Thanks for your hard work. I know you said that it's part of the job but you really do go above and beyond the call of duty
Dude you totally rock! This is great stuff. This is not only a great read but a great blog! Your effort is greatly appreciated!!!

Hi Rich,
I`m not the brightest crayon in the box,but i do know quality when it comes sportwriters. You have spend so much extra time out of your life, bringing happiness to all us king fans,(young and old).
In all sincerity, Thank You So Much!
Old Man
Rich,
Your outstanding work continues and the committment you make towards your craft shows in every entry you make on the blog. As always, this Kings fan is truly appreciative of the in-depth, behind-the-scenes journalism you have given us. Bravo!
Thanks Dean and Rich for the awesome interview yesterday. I echo all of the positive comments that have been posted here over the last couple of days.
Dean Lombardi is a forward-thinking guy, so hopefully he will see the benefit of having these in-depth discussions on a fairly regular basis. It's like tossing red meat into a lion's cage.
Rich, somehow there must be a way for you to make money out of all of this. It's terrible to see your industry going through such tough times when the fundamental service it provides can still be so important to people.
As someone noted yesterday, a typical newspaper article would have required you to cut the interview down to about 100 words, thereby rendering it virtually meaningless. This blog is the perfect format for wide-ranging interviews.
No Rich, doing the interview was part of your job, but taking the time to transcribe/post it here went beyond your job description. And that's what the thanks is for.
Bring Back The Shield.....Exactly!
I ditto all the comments.
The Kings should put you on the payroll for all the positive, beyond the box press they get from this blog.
A thousand thanks!
Not much more to be said.
you ARE the MAN!!!
Thank You!!!
