A reader e-mailed me to tell me about a tournament at the Roller Dome this Sunday in Thousand Oaks. The tournament benefits a roller hockey player’s daughter, Quinn, who was recently diagnosed with Leukemia.

Rollerdome (aka the North Oaks Sports
Center) is
in Thousand Oaks. It’s off the 23 freeway. To get there (from LA)
you
would take the 101 to the 23 North. Exit Avenida de Los Arboles and
make
a left (under the freeway). It’s about two miles up the road (to the
left). You’ll pass one stoplight and two stop signs. Basically,
you’ll
drive by a bunch of houses, and the first gas station and shopping
center
you see on the left is it.
