This team doesnt deserve to go to the playoffs. They come out flat and give up early goals constantly. Then when behind they decide to play, when it is to late. ITs so frustrating to watch them.

Stick a fork in them already.

I should be used to these stretch run collapses by now, but I'm not.

I don't blame Quick for the first one. 2nd one is just bad luck, reaching back and knocking it in. 3rd one maybe, but it's a one-timer. 4th one you can't help.

At least he publicly showed some frustration. A goalie who gives a crap, what a concept.

We've played pretty solid this road trip, just simply the few mistakes we have made, we have paid for in spades. Too many shots from outside though. We need more pucks in the center and guys planted for rebounds.

I'm the eternal optimist, but it doesn't look good at all. Maybe if they string the next 5 wins I'll feel better.

I'll tell you what I really want....I really want to hear interviews with the players about how pissed they are. Yeah, yeah, yeah, professionalism and blah, blah, blah...at some point you have to have some EMOTION. I want to see it. We have not had it (visibly) in so long with this team, I think I forgot what it looks like.

Oh yeah, like everyone, I want Kovalchuk. Kick his tires and see how much he would cost us.

Where is Lombardi?
Tangradi is just the type of prospect he should be bringing in to LA, not to mention Kunitz is a tough little workhorse.
We can't just continue to sit on our hands in the trade market.
Get over the FA nightmares and get on the telephone.

PS - quit trading away our good players...

That's three straight games we could've won. I was worried we were toast when we lost to Philly, I thought we were toast when we lost to Detroit, and I know we're toast now that we lost to Chicago. It was fun while it lasted, but these are the types of games we'll win next year when we make the playoffs.

Hey, we're only four points up on the lottery. Maybe we can work our way down to that area.

The banning of commenters, or perhaps all commenting in general, is on the horizon. Once again, I have no patience for childish behavior, at all. This isn't a sandbox. I appreciate your cooperation.

I`m not going to blame Ouick. But why on earth can`t this team put three men in on the forcheck. The hawk`s gave us no room to work the entire game. The only team that looked deperate was the Hawks.

Might as well suck it up this team isn't making the playoffs. They are back to flirting with .500 where they seem most comfortable they will lose and win and stay around .500 for the rest of season. The defense while improved is still prone to bad lapses and the offense is inconsistent to just plain anemic.

I think Dean/TM needs to bring in a better Assistant Coach to handle the Offense and PP. Dean also needs to look out for a goal scorer (easier said then done I know). Who knows we could have one in the system but Calder is in the way.

Mark has done an great job turning this defense around but it still needs work. The D next year may see some major changes with Hickey done with juniors and some UFAs (goodbye Goat).

The Kings had every opportunity to take this game today. As we have all noted, this team lacks a sniper that can score goals at crucial points during a game.

Sully is not the same Sully from last year. Most of his shots never make it on goal, kopi is regaining his form, Brown's not a true goal scorer, Stoll is hit & miss, and that leaves us with Fro who is having a great offensive year.

The Kings are learning that they need to capitalize on mistakesm as these opportunities are far and few this time of year. this is the difference between the elite teams & us.

Its going to be an interesting few days leading to the deadline. As many of are, I'm anxiously waiting to see what DL does or doesn't do.

Are hope of the playoffs isn't quite over, slim at this point, but not over.

Man....This feels like a bad day. Do you guys notice the amount of shots that miss the net all together. I think I hear Bob say "shot is shot is wide by" more then any other team. We dont need perfect post ringers we need guys in front and shots on the net....Damn this sucks.
