Injured reserve news
Raitis Ivanans, who missed today's game because of an ``upper-body injury'' (he was hit in the head against Detroit) was placed on injured reserve today. Tom Preissing, who has been out with dizziness issues, has been activated from injured reserve.

Draper's hit was dirty, and if that was Gauthier or even Ivanans delivering that hit, they have a five game suspension like Boogaaard and Witt, but since it's a Wing, there's no suspension, let alone penalty. That is why this league is a joke and will continue to be for years to come
Any idea what the future holds for Preissing Rich? I assume since he was in Terry Murray's dog house before he got hurt that there's a good chance he'll be moved before the trade deadline?
