O'Donnell extension
Sportsnet has reported a one-year contract extension for Sean O'Donnell, which certainly makes sense but has not yet been made official. We'll see what materializes in the next hour or so.

Good. O'D is a quality guy and is good for this young defensive core. What a show of good character and commitment (2 things Blake seemed to miss).
Good move next year will probably see Hickey really push to make the team and having a guy like OD around will certainly help.

Right on. I always enjoy going to the Meet The Players Party to see the character of the players. O'Donnell was a cool guy and actually thanked me for showing up and supporting the team. The only player to do so. Class act and good player.
Very happy to see this. OD would make a great coach one day as well.
