Ontario Reign update

Jeff Zatkoff made 29 saves last night as the Ontario Reign beat Stockton 4-3 and forced a seventh game in the first-round ECHL playoff series. That game will be played tonight in Ontario. The Reign led 4-0 before Zatkoff allowed three third-period goals, but held on. Colten Teubert had a plus-2 rating and took two minor penalties.

    Tonight’s the night we find out…

    Yutaka Fukufuji has been spectacular, but the Bakersfield Condors’ scoring has been spotty, so tonight game 7 in the other Division series will be played. Who will come up big in the clutch? Don’t know for sure… The Condors need big goals from their big line, tonight!

    I’m still dreaming of an Ontario-Bakersfield division final, to start in Bakersfield on Friday, Apr. 24…

    Reign’s season is over….They lose the 7th game 5-4; four of Stocton’s goals were in the first period.

    Good call on the Condors/Reign match up in round two since both lost last night.

    I’m pretty bummed about the Reign loss last night since it was last so-cal hockey I enjoyed watching this season. I really don’t care to follow the quacks at all.

    In addition, I blame the Reign loss on the Westside Rental Man (you know the crazy dancing guy with Nemo on is head and Mickey Mouse hands) who came to Ontario for the game last night. I think he might be our source of bad luck in LA and he brought it with him to Ontario. :) It either has to be that, or the incredibly poor play from Ontario last night for about 50 of the 60 minutes.
