Dustin Brown make-up date

| | Comments (6) |

For those who attended the Tip-A-King event in February and were disappointed not to meet Dustin Brown, who was dealing with childbirth issues, Brown and the Kings have rescheduled a ``make-up'' date. On Saturday, May 16, Brown will appear at the Sports Chalet in Marina del Rey from 10 a.m. to noon. The autograph session will be exclusively for Tip-A-King ticket-buyers, who can bring their ticket stubs from February and ``tip'' $1 for an autograph and $2 for a photo.

that's phenomenal, I've never heard of such a thing (and I know in the past, a few players have not been able to appear for reasons like this). kudos for the Kings for doing this. it's a bit easier that it's Brown, who lives in LA year round. but not really because he's off playing in the IIHF WC at the moment.

That's cool, but what if you didn't keep your stub? I don't usually keep my stubs thinking Brown will have a "make up" day.

They made the announcement at Tip a King that Brown was unable to make it but that he would reschedule at another time. Most people figured that would never happen. Well it did & what a classy move. Too bad Handzus, who was also a no show couldn't do the same.

I take my first statement back. I didn't hear the announcement at the event there would be a reschedule for Brown.
