Vote: Best defensive player

Here's the fourth and final poll, for the Kings' best defensive player. The difference here is, this is not just limited to defensemen. It can be any player who has played in at least 25 games for the Kings this season...

Interesting that our best defensive player is a forward... that's a bit of an eye opener.

The best defensive player would have to be Handzus only because I can't choose between all of the defensemen. They all bring a different attribute that the team needs.

When it comes right down to it, Defense = stopping scoring chances.

Quick has been the best King at doing that.

I voted for Simmonds...why not....

I voted for Greene. Anybody who blocks shots with his face has my vote.

Rich; any word on how Quincey's surgery went yet?

I agree: your best defensive player is your goalie=JQ.

By the way, with Phoenix and Atlanta wins (hate to get off topic), it's clear that our Crown Carriers can finish as low as 27th...

I have been thinking all along that this team needs to learn to win, but here we are, last in 5-on-5 goals, and all I can think of is...

Taveras... Taveras... Taveras...

Quick. No contest.

Quincey. He's been consistently the most solid on D, imo

Why would you want a run of the mill Center fielder like Willy Taveras: http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/7269

When you can have the best sniper in the draft John TAVARES.

(LOL)

This one was easy for me. NOBODY has won more crucial faceoffs in our own end, gave up the body to get the puck out, played more PK's, or was the first one back more than Handzus.

He deserves best comeback player and defensive player if my vote counts for anything.

Dude was a bust last year but a beast this year. What a turnaround.
