Doughty was the obvious choice, but you can make a case for most of the guys on the list.
Without almost all of them, we would have had the same team as last year. Anyone want to see Willsie again?
The only two I wouldn't give a vote to would be Richardson and Gauthier...and in Gauthier's defense...he's been a main-stay on the PK all year which has been in the top 10 all year.

Vote goes to Quincey as I already voted Doughty as MVP.

I don't think Doughty is the MVP of the team, but he is far and away the best newcomer and rookie.

So many great newcomers. I went with Doughty, but Quincey, Quick and Simmonds have also been terrific.

We'll look back in 15 years and realize that Simmonds played the same way every single night.

How can you possibly choose just one? Doughty has been wonderful and lucky enough to play with the Kings all season. There have been costly mistakes but he has learned from them. Drewiske has been a very pleasant surprise. A very solid defenseman who deservedly earned the second star of the night last night. Greene, wow what can you say about him but that he is a warrior. Moller, oh little Moller who gets knocked around every which way but gets right back up and continues to play. O'Donnell, where would our rookie defenseman be without him? Quincey, another pleasant surprise. Sure I have been a little disappointed in his power play production lately but now I know why. Stoll has been great in faceoffs and does the essential grinding. Simmonds for the first time I actually felt like he disappeared in the game last night but other than that he has been fairly consistent.

Well I went with O'Donnell just because of what he has done to help out the future of the Kings.

Quick. Because he did not start the season as even a #2 goalie and came in making a huge impact on the teams confidence
