Loktionov, Windsor still alive

| | Comments (6) |

For those with the NHL network on their satellite/cable networks, the Memorial Cup semifinal between Windsor -- with Kings prospect Andrei Loktionov -- and Drummondville will be televised today at 4 p.m. Pacific time. The Spitfires advanced to the semfinals based on Thursday's 6-4 victory over Rimouski, a game in which Loktionov had three assists.

The winner of today's game will face Kelowna for the championship on Sunday afternoon.

Done! Windsor will face Kelowna Sunday in the final, defeating Drummondville 3-2 in OT. Not a bad comeback for a team that started the tournament 0-2......

You know what's sad? I'm enjoying the Memorial Cup playoffs more then the Stanley Cup playoffs. Go Windsor!

Congratulations to Windsor and Loktionov for a Memorial Cup Victory! Loktionov tallied an assist on the power play in the game. Windsor scored on its first three shots and never looked back.

Pretty nice comeback for the Spits, being down 0-2 to start the series and coming back to win everything. Loktionov looks like quite the passer and has a very decent shot. A Kings LW in the future? Quite possibly.

Congratz to Windsor & Loktionov for winning the cup. BTW, is Taylor Hall for the Spits the deal or what???

Next up.....The Draft!

Go Kings!!!

Rich can you start a petition for a topic to bring back the old gold and purple unis? This would really excite the fan base.

even as a big kings fan i would not like the purple and gold uniforms back if they decide to change the colors i would want the black and silver back. otherwise im fine with purple and black i think their jerseys are fine now, but i do like my Drew Doughty 3rd jersey i have =)
