With only four going in it is hard to vote against Yzerman, Hull, Robtialle and Leetch getting in. Although I’d still like to see my boy Dino get in.

Hard to argue against Yzerman for his long career in Detroit, Hull for his goal scoring, and Robitaille for being the top scoring left winger. Leetch is also a strong candidate.

I wasn’t a huge fan of Brett’s either, but, insofar as I know, he never broke any rules. He may have been a cocky prick, but he could certainly back that up.
If your going to accuse someone like that, you may want to actually have proof…unlesss I’m misreading your post, in which case, I apologize.
You may very well have just said that because you don’t like him, in which, that’s pretty stupid, although I doubt one of greatest goal scorer’s in the history of the NHL cares what you have to say.

I think I was a little harsh on Brett with the father statement and I regret posting it.
He is an admitted cheater though. Brett’s words…
“I had an illegal stick all the time and it wasn’t so much that I thought I was cheating, but, you know, I wouldn’t have got 300 goals in this league unless I’d had that stick that I used. I couldn’t shoot it without that curve.”
Now, I know alot of players use illegal sticks, but at a sportsmanship level, it is similar to a corked bat. If a player used a corked bat his entire career would he get into the Hall?

No offense Deelo…not only did his father use an illegal stick, so did Mario Lemieux, and 98% of the NHL.
Not liking him is one thing…I don’t either…but c’mon man…just about the entire league uses some kind of illegal stick.
On that hall of fame list alone, I would bet that all but Stevie Y used one…why not him? He was a playmaker…mahybe Leetch as well.
I have my own opinions on Sosa, steriods, etc…but that’s for another board. Outside of the corked bat, what rule exactly did he break? McGuire, all of them? There wasn’t a single rule on the books stating PHD’s could not be used. I don’t like it, but there wasn’t a rule.

Dave Andreychuk was as prolific as Luc for all intents and purposes. Now Luc should go first but Dave isn’t a bad choice over Hull. Brett was always just a little squirrely and a floater. Dave was a garbageman and I like those kinda players.
