Seven??? Jeez! I like him as a player though, so hey, good for him - just didn't expect the interest to be quite that long-time. Will be a good mentor for Hedman.
Tampa should be a perennial force, but I just get this feeling they're going to botch things for the next couple of years.
7 years???? He'll be what, 90 years old when it's done?
I would sign him to a one year deal, MAX

3.75M cap hit is not bad, but 7 years seems a stretch. just another questionable move by the freakshow that is OK hockey
NHL live just mentioned Knuble is being discussed as a possibility for the Kings... don't know a lot about him really but he doesn't look like what we are looking for?
FYI- The contract is seven years to strecth it out and bring down the cap hit. From what i've heard >90% of the contract will be paid in the first 5 years.
Great deal for Tampa. Ohlund is one of the most underappreciated players in the league.
AK47...Why just one year?
That makes quite a bit more sense J.
Knuble wouldn't be terrible. He would be considered a "fall back", BUT, he is a LW, can play 1st line minutes, puts up a ton of numbers on PP, and goes to the net like a bull.
And by the time Ohlund's contract is up, Hedman will be preparing to leave as a UFA...
Will it be Knuble? Another ex Flyer
