Afternoon lines

Alaexander Frolov is not practicing this afternoon. I should be able to get a reason after practice. Here's how they're skating, with Stoll back on the second line...

Smyth-Kopitar-Williams
Purcell-Stoll-Brown
Clune-Handzus-Simmonds
Ivanans-Harrold-Zeiler
Richardson-Moller-Lewis

Johnson-Scuderi
O'Donnell-Doughty
Drewiske-Greene
Hickey-Martinez

Quick
Bernier

why is it that everytime a trade is mentioned, Alex Frolov is the name brought up....a rhetorical question, of course, since he is THE player that other teams want, he is THE player other teams need...
in fact I can almost feel them drooling for the chance to lure him away from the Kings...

so we need another goal scorer, but certainly not at the expense of the best all-around fundamental player in the NHL....sure, at times you get the feeling he could do more, but maybe he now has added incentive with the addition of Smyth and Scuderi....now we have a good shot at a playoff slot....it'll be interesting to see if Fro plays with more consistency and is able to raise his game another notch...God knows he has the ability.

Now, Morency is an army criminal. Can we get one of those?

I would love to see Rich Clune make the team.. Trevor Lewis also

Maybe Fro is out for personal reasons, rather than he's being traded?

And it would be nice to have Clune rather than Zeiler/Richardson.

Harrold can go, too. I'd rather have Drewiske. He played better in the Kings/Pens game than Harrold did all last season. We can keep Harrold, as long as we like Bobby Ryan scoring on us.

Doughty
JJ
OD
Greene
Scuderi
Drewiske
Hickey

That's all that we need.

Call me crazy, but I'd like to see Doughty and Drewiske paired together instead of OD.
