Any word on hiring a Euro scout? A draft fanatic friend believes that as many as half of the first round picks will come from overseas in 2010.
Is this the same source that Eklund used in his (e4) prediction of Mats Sundin coming to LA?
I think the ice at Staples has a better chance of MELTING than Mats coming here, unless he'll take less than 2 Mil/year for 1 year.
How weird would it be to have that happen? Our second line center would make 2 mil/year and our 4th line center (Stoll) would make 3.7! OK...too much unrealistic thinking there.....sorry. I'm tired.

Yeah, they painted the NHL rink at TSC on Monday night. It took them all night. I guess that is practice for the Staples ice.

I thought it was free too as it was last year when played in Phoenix. But I read in one of Rich' posts a little back saying that ticket information would be released at a later date, maybe they are giving free tickets so its not over crowded? My question is can't you just show up at TSC and if you do need tickets say your there for something else? Im sure if you show up they won't turn you away, maybe I will call and find out.
Just start the season already.... jeez!
