Group A lines

For what it's worth, here's how the first group of Kings skated:

Smyth-Kopitar-Williams
Clifford-Schenn-Kozun
Clune-Harrold-Westgarth
Elkins-Maxwell-Segal

Johnson-Scuderi
Hickey-Teubert
Bagnall

And there it is. The first clue of training camp:

Clune/Harrold/Westgarth

Someone wants to see if that works. If it does...

Smyth/Kopitar/Williams
xx/Stoll/Brown
Frolov/Handzus/Simmonds
Clune/Harrold/Westgarth

xx = Moller, Purcell or Lewis. Or if Stoll is hurt, two of those three. (p.s. I know I'm getting ahead of myself...)

Love having WIliams and Smyth on either side of Kopitar.

updates! Where's the updates?!

How has Schenn looked? Smyth looking good with Kopitar? Is Williams still slow? We need updates!

It`s really nice to see what the line combos are on Group B. Stoll still injured still...but who play`s leftwing...Purcell or is Brown on left and Purcell on right...is Green with Drewiske?

I watched the entire practice today. Here are my impressions:

Williams-Kopitar-Smyth were dynamic. Chemisty off the charts. They were making passes that were reminiscent of the Red Wings. Johnson and Scuderi were also playing hard and looked on top of their game.

I thought the Schenn line was still on fire from the second game with Phoenix rookies, and played really well.

Oscar Moller took Stolls place on the second line, and I was really impressed by him. Purcell was also really good on this line. I thought Brown wasn't.

Fro made an appearance, finally, and was really good. He's Fro, and disputes, comraderie be damned, the guy is talented. Simmonds was a little disappointing to me.
Hanzus did a good job but didn't stand out.

Doughty seemed off his game in the drills but as soon as they got to scrimmages he was really good.

Matt Greene is huge and bader-ass than last year. He impressed me more than any of the D guys.
