Sunday morning practice
The practice schedule got adjusted, so it's just Frolov, Stoll, Quick and Ersberg on the ice today. Frolov appears, at least, to be skating/shooting normally. A significant number of cuts will likely be announced this afternoon.

Rich/Anyone want to make calls on the cuts today, Anyone think Shinny will go with his big game last night?
Just some thoughts...
It's time for Trevor Lewis to step up, or will he be one of those unfortunates, a 1st round draft pick who is never heard from again?
Secondly, I think Oscar Moller should definitely be here all year, and he will be a valuable asset for the team....Swedish players tend to be fundamentally sound, but he will need to develop an all-around game to gain more ice time, meaning his play-making skills may need improvement, esp. if he is to play the center ice slot....
RE: Schenn-
I do believe he will survive this cut.
Murray knows he needs to see the kid play another game or two.
If he has another good game on the 22nd, he will keep playing.
The second he slips up, and gets lazy, Murray cuts him.
It wouldn't be crazy, to let the kid play the 1st 5-9 games of the year, Clifford as well for that matter, as TM likes those two together.
You know the top 3 lines are set, with Purcell on the 2nd line, that leaves Moller, Lewis, Schenn, Clifford, Ivanans/Westgarth (only one can make it), Clune, and a few others fightnig for 4th line duty,...if you had to choose 3 of those to make the 4th line, who do you go with?
My Line-up is-
Williams-Kopitar-Smyth
Purcell-Stoll-Brown
Frolov-Handzus-Simmonds
Schenn-Moller-Loktionov
Tim C,
There's no point in keeping those three kids up in the NHL getting limited ice time. They are top line guys. Unless they win a spot on line 1 or 2, they'll be sent down to gain experience and training in the Kings' minor league system. Except for Schenn; he will go back to juniors. I'm in favor of keeping him around until the last possible cut though, to give him maximum experience especially since he won't be in the Kings' farm system until next season.
