Willie Mitchell wants to get word out on concussions

Kings defenseman Willie Mitchell suffered a severe concussion back in 2010 that cost him the remainder of that season. He hopes by talking about concussions it will shed light on a problem the NHL – and other sports – deal with relative to keeping their athletes safe.

Mitchell addressed the issue Tuesday at media day at the Stanley Cup Finals.

Keep coming back I’ll be posting stuff throughout the finals.
