It was part of a lengthy question-and-answer session after Thursday’s practice, but here’s what was said in an exchange between reporters and goalie Jonathan Quick:

Question: Are you feeling a lot better about yourselves after these last two games?

Quick: “Yeah, I think we deserved a better fate against Detroit. We played really well against St. Louis. We played a really strong game. There are things we need to clean up and get better at and work on as we move forward.”

Question: Is there one thing you’d like to see the team do better?

Quick: “Yeah, I’d like to see myself play better. I think that’s the biggest thing.”
