Darryl Sutter talks about the Kings’ improved play from their goaltenders

Kings coach Darryl Sutter offered one reason for the team’s three-game winning streak and five victories in the last six games. Sutter said after Jonathan Quick made 23 saves in Saturday’s 4-1 victory over the Colorado Avalanche, “I think the competition between our goaltenders the last seven games has been significant to our team’s success. I think both guys are playing really well, and we want them to play really well to give us a chance to be a playoff team.”
