Right wing Justin Williams says Kings need more offense going for Game 4

Justin Williams called out the Kings’ best offensive players Monday afternoon. He was calm, cool and collected as he spoke after he and his teammates practiced at its El Segundo training facility and before they boarded their chartered flight for San Jose.

The veteran right wing did not hold back when asked about the Kings’ lack of offense so far in their second-round playoff series against the San Jose Sharks. Game 4 is Tuesday night at HP Pavilion and Williams said the Kings need more production if they hope to take a 3-1 lead in the series.

“It’s going to take our best players, myself at the top of the list, to get more offense,” he said. “Plain and simple, your guys who produced during the year need to produce just as much, if not more, during the playoffs. Whether it be creating momentum or creating goal-scoring opportunities or actually putting the puck in the net, which we need to do a lot more, we need to be better at it.”
