It’s closing time for the Kings

Here’s what Kings captain Dustin Brown had to say about trying to close out the San Jose Sharks on Sunday in Game 6 at HP Pavilion: “Your approach doesn’t change, but that’s not to say you’re not thinking about it as a player on both sides of it. “You know what’s at stake, but you don’t change the way you play based on a close-out game or not. We try to approach all the games the same.

“It’s one of those things when you have a team down, you want to step on their throats. It’s having that killer instinct. It’s something we had last year. It’s just breaking their will and trying to do everything you can to put doubt in their mind. They’re a pretty experienced team when it comes to the playoffs, so it’s about playing the game the right way and getting the job done.”
