The Kings recalled forward Tanner Pearson from their American Hockey League club in Manchester, N.H., on Tuesday. Pearson, 21, has 25 points in 30 games for the Monarchs this season, including 13 goals. He was tied for the club lead in goals as of Tuesday morning and third in points. This is his second call-up to the Kings. He had one goal in six games earlier this season after making his NHL debut in the playoffs last spring. He fills a roster spot that opened when the Kings dealt left wing Daniel Carcillo to the New York Rangers for a draft pick on Saturday.
