Is there dissention in the House of Buss? Part two of the saga came down this morning, when Jeanie Buss criticized her brother Jim’s harsh comments about her boyfriend, Lakers coach Phil Jackson in another radio interview last week.

Jeanie took exception to Jim’s comments disliking Jackson’s penchant for criticizing players through the media.

“I thought that was interesting because that’s what he was doing to Phil,” Jeanie Buss said on Fred Roggin’s morning sports talk show on AM 570, the Lakers’ flagship station. “It’s a tough situation because I date the coach and so that brings some different dynamics into the relationship.”

    Youre darned right that youre relationship muddies up the whole situation. In fact, its a complete conflict of interest. When you can see the way your boyfriend manipulated the rotations all season long, when you cant see that theres something wrong when your boyfriend runs with a 11 and 12 man rotation in the playoffs, when you cant see that theres something wrong with your boyfriend going with Smush Parker for 80 games before deciding to pull himyeah, youre muddying up the situation.

    What your boyfriend did this season is worthy of being fired. But he probably wont be fired because hes your boyfriend.

    Let me show you just how blind youve made yourself concerning your boyfriend. Last year, in the final game of the season, the Lakers were playing the Hornets. The Lakers built a nice lead to open the game. Then your boyfriend pulled Kwame Brown and the Hornets started coming back. I believe you and Kurt Rambis wife were sitting together near courtside (I read that in the papers). The article said that you started the try to signal you boyfriend to put Brown back in by holding up 5 fingers on one hand and 4 on the other. Why did you do that Jeanie? Its because it was obvious that Kwame Brown stabilizes the Lakers defense. Its so obvious that you, yourself, can see it.

    The problem, dear girl, is that your boyfriend seems to think that its not true. Your arrogant boyfriend thinks that his coaching is above the defensive presence that Kwame Brown provides. Well, let me clue you in on this: Until Kwame Brown was inserted into the starting line-up the Lakers, under PJ 2nd term, were never 2, 3, or 4 games above 500. The only time the Lakers played above 500 is when Kwame Brown was the starting center.

    Even this season: When Kwame was out the Lakers played well below 500. Its the most obvious thing to observe. The question is this: Why isnt your boyfriend behind Kwame Brown?

    I wont even mess around with you. I going to tell it straight: Your boyfriend is as manipulative as they come and your bother is the only one whos actually trying to bring this thing in order. And if things are going to be put in order that means your manipulative boyfriend has to be checked. And if he doesnt like it, I hope your brother shows him the door.

    Who in the world goes with a Smush Parker type guard for 80 games just to pull him in the 81st game? Didnt you see how Shammond Williams looked all lost out there against Phoenix? Thats your boyfriends work. Instead of going with Farmar, McKie, Williams, and Sasha from the start of the season to get them in some type of rhythm he goes with Parker for 80 games and pulls him in the 81st game and kills all the rhythm for the playoffs. THATS YOUR BOYFRIEND! And your brother has every right to say what he said. And if that isnt enoughyour brother was only answering a question put to him by the interviewers.

    The question is why did they ask your brother the question in the first place? Its because your boyfriend doesnt have enough sense to have a personal talk with people. His idea of coaching is talking to a player through the media. How stupid is that? Maybe your brother was giving him a taste of his own medicine.

    I have a lot to say about your boyfriend and none of it is good. Hes manipulative and too stuck in his 1960s ways to coach this group of players and if he wasnt your boyfriend he would probably be fired! So yes you muddy up the situation.

    In conclusion: Get out of the way and let your brother handle that basketball side of the business because youre too blind to see how your boyfriend manipulated this whole season.

    She’s like a child, defending her boyfriend,it’s so obvious is personal, her brother is at least trying to make the organization better and this woman acts like a child.

    Maybe she and her boyfriend, should leave holding hands.

    Is this woman 16 years old? it seems like it.

    This teamm will go down, because of too many power struggles.

    I am not a big fan of the Triangle offense that has been slowing going downhill ever since they legalized the zone. Everybody can see it except Jackson, cause that is apparently the only thing he knows how to do. I am not a big JamFan for Coach Jackson. But Jeannie Buss is right about one thing….You do not criticize the coach in the press for criticizing players in the press. He is asking the coach to do these comments privately, and he should follow his own advice. We have seen other teams torn apart by pissing matches taking place in the press, and once it starts……well, the focus should be on next seasons lineup. I expect the Lakers management to behave like adults. JamFan

    I think jim buss, needs to just keep his mouth shut. he is not the gm. so he needs to do his job, and let Phil Jackson do his. And if Jackson wants to throw names out in the media, well then they desreved it, seeing the way they played! As for Jeanie Buss, its just chatter. The real story, is jim Buss knows nothing. He’s just a silver spoon fed kid with a big mouth.

    Who cares, it’s a none story, brothers and sister bickering, wow, like that never happens. Let’s GET a GOOD TEAM. Thats the bottomline. Ramona Shelburne should be ashamed of her self for posting this stoy up, its one step away from tabloids. What next a stoy about how Jeanie shaved her head after a short stay in rehab? I want to know how this team will improve not what color socks they will be wearing with their road uni’s.

    The whole Buss family of children need to shut their mouths and keep the business in the room. Jim can disagree, but don’t go on the air and criticizing your fired/hired coach and mirroring his actions. Jeannie, you are just adding spirals to this could be management debacle. Spoiled Kids!!!!

    What is wrong with mike? Hey, be cool. Jackson brought us 3 rings. And the beginning of the season was good, up until everyone got injuries.

    If you are Kwame Brown’s fan, I am sorry to say if one checks back the score board, and will notice that Kwame is too inconsistent. One game he is very good, then the next game he looks lost.

    I actually like how the Lakers are today. Motion offense is the trend, but until ONE motion offense team actually wins the championship, maybe you should stop criticize the good old fashion half-court games which provides the champions like Pistons (under Larry Brown, not Flip), Heats, Lakers, Bulls and Spurs.
