Just an illusion

Lakers coach Phil Jackson was, understandably quite upset about the 38-10 free throw disparity in this game.

``I think my players got fouled,'' Jackson said. ``I have no question about the fact my players got fouled, but didn't get to the line. I don't want to get into dispute with those situations. It's the illusion that's created. The referees referee and illusion. Our guys look like maybe the ball was partially stripped when they were getting raked.''

As a Laker fan nothing makes me more sick than Phil Jackson's comments after games 1 and 2. Not only does he completely disrespect the other team (Leon "Pow"? Please he just lit us up!), but then he goes off on the refs so the fans don't go off on him. Excuses, excuses, excuses, if I want to hear someone complain about refs Ill listen to talk radio, I want a coach who will man-up and admit that we lost, they won, and my coaching job sucked today! (5 bench players to start the 2nd quarter!)
