OK, so 82-0 is out of the question. Now what?

Just got back from the Lakers locker room and while the callers on sports talk radio might be freaking out, the Lakers themselves were just fine.

``We were going to lose some time, right?'' said guard Sasha Vujacic.

Apparently, that's exactly the way coach Phil Jackson wanted it. When asked what Phil told the team after the game, Kobe Bryant said:

``I guess we're not going undefeated,'' according to Bryant.

So no yelling and screaming?

`` Nah. We're a very stable club. We're not going to get too high or too low. We're just going to keep moving forward.''

What happened Friday night then?

``I think it was a match issue with our defense,'' Bryant said. ``Rasheed's ability to stretch the floor opened up the lane for their guards.''
