What's up with McGrady?

| | Comments (0) |

Tracy McGrady came to Los Angeles averaging 22 points a game. He left with 5 points in two games. So what gives?

``It was an awful shooting night. I just couldn't get in a rhythm, they were really making it tough on me. Every time I posted up, they had a couple of guys coming over,'' McGrady said.

``Those were probably the worst two games of my career.''

With McGrady, you always have to ask about injuries.

``He was sick for the Clippers game and tonight I don't think he was feeling all that good,'' Rockets coach Rick Adelman said. ``He's trying to come back. I thought he favored his knee tonight. He's got to keep working through it.''

Asked if he agreed with Adelman's sentiment, McGrady nodded.

``Yeah, maybe a little,'' he said. ``I'm still not 100 percent, trying to recover from the surgery.''
