Halftime: Lakers 57, Rockets 57

The Lakers started by making eight of their first 10 shots and 13 of their first 15 and all they had to show for it by halftime was a tie with the Houston Rockets tonight in Game 2. The Lakers' second unit let them down again to start the second quarter. Houston caught the Lakers and passed them late in the half before Kobe Bryant hit a tying 3-pointer with 4.5 seconds left. Bryant had 20 points on 9-for-15 shooting. Pau Gasol added 16 points on 6-for-6 shooting. No on else had more than six points, however.
