Douglas selected

The Lakers picked guard Toney Douglas from Florida State with the 29th pick, the one they’re set to ship to the New York Knicks for $3 million. Douglas, listed at 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds, averaged 21.5 points and was named a third team All-American as a senior last season.

Not disappointing really, that money will go into the Odom-Ariza endowment fund.

boring offseason for our lakers the magic got alot better if they can re-sign hedo the cavs got shaq i think the lakers need to do something with that bench aka get rid of sasha and get a guy that can score

The Magic won’t sign Turkoglu because they are now significantly over the cap in light of the Carter trade. His agent already informed the Magic of his decision to opt out. I don’t think there’s any reason to worry about the Magic. Carter still can’t defend and they don’t have a strong backcourt. Besides, we’re five months away from the season.
