Odom wants to re-sign

| | Comments (2) |

Nothing surprising in Lamar Odom's comments today that he hopes to re-sign with the Lakers after he becomes an unrestricted free agent July 1. He has made similar statements now and then during the course of the last nine months. Anyway, he said it again today during the media session, telling reporters: "I mean, it would probably take an offer I couldn't refuse for me to play somewhere else, you know? It would take something incredible, which I don't think is going to happen. Most likely, hopefully, I'll be wearing a Lakers uniform."

I'm sure his agent is just dying over that comment... This is a huge predicament for the Lakers. Ariza? Odom? Farmar? All deserving but financially undoable. It's going to be a long and difficult summer for Mitch Kupchak.

THEY want Lamar. Lamar is worth a lot. They need him. I really don't want him to go either. So lets pray that they sign him.
