CLEVELAND -- Kobe Bryant reached the 25,000-point milestone tonight with a free throw with 3 minutes remaining in the first half. He had 19 points to help the Lakers to a 40-36 lead. He scored his 17th and 18th points of the game on a jump shot, then drew a foul on Cleveland's Anthony Parker while driving along the baseline moments later. He sank the first of two free throws to become only the 15th player in league history to hit 25,000 points.

UPDATE: The Lakers led the Cavs, 46-44, at halftime as Bryant scored 20 points. LeBron James led the Cavs with 18 points. Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol each drew three fouls.
