Pau Gasol and Kobe Bryant scored 12 points apiece. Andrew Bynum scored two points, grabbed four rebounds and added two assists in the first half. Bynum started despite having a slight meniscus tear in his right knee. Deron Williams led the Jazz with 17 points in the half.
