Lakers 90, Wolves 79

MINNEAPOLIS — The Lakers overecame a poor-shooting night and the youthful Minnesota Timberwolves to win their fifth in a row since the All-Star break. They played some pretty ugly ball, but still beat the Timberwolves for the 14th consecutive time. Kobe Bryant scored 24 points and Pau Gasol had 12 points and 17 rebounds. The Lakers shot 37.5 percent (30-for-80) and had 16 turnovers. Kevin Love scored 13 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for his 47th straight double-double for Minnesota. Next: Charlotte at Staples Center on Friday.
