Half: Heat 55, Lakers 53

MIAMI -- The Lakers and the Miami Heat went toe-to-toe in the first half tonight at the American Airlines Arena, with little difference between them. Actually, there was a slight difference in that Chris Bosh had 16 points for the Heat and Pau Gasol countered with 14 for the Lakers. Kobe Bryant scored the Lakers' first 10 points on 4-for-4 shooting. He had 17 points by halftime on 6-for-10 shooting. Mike Miller had 11 in a reserve role for Miami.
