ATLANTA -- Kobe Bryant needed 12 points to catch Moses Malone and move into sixth place on the NBA's all-time scoring list. He scored 15 in the first half tonight against the Atlanta Hawks at Philips Arena. The Lakers made 25 of 43 shots (58.1 percent) in the first half and led by as many as 13 points. Pau Gasol added eight points and six rebounds and Andrew Bynum had six points and five assists. Three Hawks had 11 points.
