Gasol has a bone bruise

Pau Gasol underwent an MRI exam today that revealed he has a bone bruise in his right knee. The Lakers said he is day-to-day, which means it's uncertain whether he will play in Tuesday's game against the Utah Jazz at Staples Center. Andrew Bynum had a bone bruise in his knee earlier this season and was forced to sit out a game. Gasol was hurt in the second half of Sunday's loss to the Denver Nuggets.
